Summer Reading is here! This year’s program may look a little different, but we’re so excited about what we have planned for June and July to build community and celebrate our shared love of reading!
This year’s program runs from Monday, June 1 - Friday, July 31 and is open to ALL AGES, from the littlest littles to adults!
No registration is necessary, simply complete challenges to participate!
You can either download/print the materials below, or check with your local branch of the Latah County Library District to find out how and when you can pick up materials curbside.
Summer Reading includes a series of three reading challenges:
1. Complete 10 days of reading, starting June 1. Download your READING LOG. You may also track 10 days of reading using your own methods.
2. Get a bingo by completing five activities in a row.
3. Get a blackout on the same bingo card by completing all the activities.
Upon completing a challenge, fill out the PRIZE ENTRY FORM for a chance to win prizes! You can submit this form up to 3 times, one time for each completed challenge. DO NOT return Reading Logs or Bingo Cards to the library. Prizes will be drawn throughout the summer.
There will be no library check-ins between challenges, and no staffed Summer Reading desks at our libraries.
In addition to the Reading Challenges, you can also enjoy these Summer Reading events!
